Joe Conti plays instruments unlike any other -

The Chapman Stick Touchboard (or The Stick) and the Warr Guitar. Both instruments produce a unique sound - the strings are tapped instead of strummed or plucked, giving it the two handed versatility of a keyboard. The melody strings of both instruments are connected to a guitar synthesizer so that Joe can sound like a bass, keyboard and guitar all at once!

Joe is primarily playing conventions and private functions as well as working with different artists in his studio, NapoSound.

Saturday Evenings 5:30 - 9:30

Tommy hosts Joe on Saturdays with some wonderful food in a casual and elegant atomosphere. Joe has become a Purveyor of Island Lifestyles like Tommy! A very hip spot.

Crystal Blue Lounge at the Keahou Sheraton Resort and Spa on

Sunday Evenings 6 - 10

The Crystal Blue Lounge is a great spot on the Kona Coast. A very laid back atmosphere with open mountain and ocean views to enjoy Joe on Sunday evenings. Playing many styles from easy listening island and latin songs to Hwaiian, Funk, Reggae, Country, Motown, and more.

The Kamuela Provision Company at th Hilton Waikaloa

Monday Evenings 6-9

Also known as the KPC Restaurant at the Hilton Waikaloa Village. Joe plays solo on Mondays from 6 to 9 P.M. overlooking Maui. Great sunsets!

At KPC Joe will play slack key and sunset improvisations along with island music, reggae, jazz and pop in a non obtrusive fine dinning enviornment. Stop on by and have a great meal on the lani at KPC.

In 1984, Joe worked as a technician for the illustrious Frank Zappa!

Joe started his musical career as a bassist in Los Angeles.
Although the majority of his gigs are now done on the Chapman Stick and the Warr Guitar, he still enjoys playing different custom bass guitar instruments. (Take the Bass Tour)
